TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(1) CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
Once a booking has been verbally agreed upon between the client and Ebony Reid (“the artist”), a quote setting out the details of the booking is sent via email to the client. The quote must be signed and emailed back to the artist with a non-refundable deposit (25% of the fee) within seven (7) days of the quote being received. If the client is unable to sign and email the quote back to the artist within seven (7) days then an email stating the acceptance of the terms and conditions including quote costs is to be emailed through to
Payment of the deposit must be made by electronic transfer. The outstanding balance must be paid to the artist by electronic transfer fourteen (14) days before the agreed upon booking date. In the event of non-payment the artist reserves the right to withhold her services.
(3) REPERTOIRE AND REQUESTS
A copy of the artist’s repertoire is readily available at www.ebonyreid.com/repertoire. Requests for songs that are not in the artist’s repertoire will be accommodated subject to suitability and a minimum of one (1) months notice.
(4) SET UP AND BREAKDOWN OF EQUIPMENT
The artist will arrive at the venue at the agreed upon set-up time. The artist will set-up and sound-check her equipment. A full hour and thirty minutes must be allowed for the set-up. During this period the artist will need unrestricted access to the area where she is to perform. Breakdown of the equipment will begin once the artist has completed her performance and takes approximately forty-five minutes. A later breakdown can
be arranged subject to a fee of $50.00 per hour. Performances are 45 minute sets with a 15 minute break with playlists provided over the artists sound system.
Travel Fee: $50 per hour by car based from Warner, QLD (1 hour each way included in package price)
Destination Weddings or Events: Flights and accommodation must be provided.
Rehearsal: Free rehearsal for ceremony or pre-wedding meeting (subject to venue location)
The client is responsible to inform the artist of all scheduled times including but not limited to; ceremony, entrances, speeches, cutting of the cake and the first dance.
In the event of cancellation by the client the following fees are payable:
More than 90 days from the performance: no additional fee
Sixty days from the performance: 25% of the outstanding balance
Thirty days from the performance: 50% of the outstanding balance
Fourteen days from the performance: 75% of the outstanding balance
Seven days from the performance: 100% of the outstanding balance
In the event of cancellation by the artist any monies paid by the client, including the deposit will be refunded.
In the event of cancellation due to COVID-19 any monies paid by the client, including the deposit will be refunded.
Note: Outstanding balances do not include the non-refundable 25% deposit paid.
(8) TRANSFERAL AND POSTPONEMENT OF BOOKINGS
This booking is transferable subject to date availability. Any postponement of this booking will be treated as a cancellation and any additional fees due under the terms of section 7 of this agreement will be payable by the client.
